Skaņu Mežs (English: Sound Forest) in Riga is the largest event for experimental music and related arts in the Baltic States. The main objective of the festival is to promote idiosyncratic musical expressions, regardless of genre and ignoring academic/non-academic divide.

It is the seventh time that Literaturhaus Zurich organizes the literary criticism workshop, inviting four critics from Central and Eastern Europe to discuss some of the books from their countries that were released on the German-language market in the last year with their Swiss colleagues.
Six sound artists from Ukraine and Switzerland have been chosen by each other and agreed to create program for live presentation and recording. Artists will meet in Geneva for a 10 days workshop and afterwards will present their projects in several cities in Switzerland.
